How can hiring an Italian-to-Spanish interpreter help ensure my event is a success?

Although Spanish and Italian may seem similar, a professional Italian-Spanish interpreter can help you eliminate communication problems. They can help participants understand fully, express themselves and be understood when speaking their mother tongue.

Are your Italian interpreting services suitable for my specific event?

I get it. Different professional fields have their own terminology and jargon. And different types of events have different procedures and formats. When booking an interpreter for an event you want to make sure they understand your field.

  • Conferences
  • Lectures and workshops
  • Conventions and congresses
  • Interviews and debates
  • Festivals and weddings
  • Trade fairs and exhibitions
  • Business meetings
  • Medical appointments
  • Focus groups
  • And many more public and private events.

I’ve provided Italian-to-Spanish and Spanish-to-Italian interpreting services at events spanning the following fields:

  • Feminism and LGBTQIAP+
  • And many more!

Which event have you enjoyed most as a Spanish interpreter?

All my clients and assignments are special to me. However, if I had to choose, one highlight was Visit Quito’s presentation to Italian tour operators in Rome (2024). Another was the Spanish Tourism Office’s presentation of Spanish UNESCO Heritage Cities in Milan (2023). My favorite trade fair as an Italian-to-Spanish interpreter was the Cibus agri-food exhibition in Parma.

What types of Spanish interpreting services do you offer?

I am a very flexible professional. Depending on your needs, you can choose from the following services:

  • Italian-to-Spanish simultaneous interpreting: I’ll simultaneously translate the speaker’s words into the audience’s language and the audience’s interventions into the speaker’s language. I work remotely or from a booth at the venue where the event takes place. Alternatively, I can use my own system of 30 transmitter radios or rent even more radios from my trusted suppliers at competitive prices.
  • Spanish-to-Italian consecutive interpreting: I’ll take notes and translate everything the speaker says into Italian once they’ve finished speaking (at intervals of about 2 to 3 minutes). I’ll then translate your interlocutor’s reply into Spanish.
  • Italian-to-Spanish liaison interpreting: I translate what you say into Spanish and vice-versa. From trade shows and business meetings to doctor’s appointments and public service meetings, this service will ensure everything goes smoothly.
  • Italian-to-Spanish chuchotage (whispered interpreting): I simultaneously translate what the speaker says by “whispering” the translation directly into your ear. This is more cost-effective than simultaneous interpreting and is carried out for one person or a very small group.
  • Spanish-to-Italian remote interpreting: I simultaneously interpret the speaker’s words into the audience’s language to aid communication between event participants. Working from an isolated environment, I use professional headphones, a microphone, and back-up connection. The platform I use most often is Zoom Pro, but I will happily adapt to your preferred platform. I am also an accredited remote interpreter on the Ablio and KUDO platforms.

What do other businesses say about your services?
